The burn of the last kiss we'll ever share

I really loved the brief flash of pink lighting from the explosion in the distance at the end of Amon OVA, honestly I love the whole quiet and sad mood of the ending, really highlights how broken Akira's and Ryo's relationship is by the end, also a really well done adaption of the ending of Shin Devilman.(imo one of the best parts of that messy ass manga! XD) I thought one thing that could've made the whole thing even more tragic than it already was if Akira did give Ryo one last kiss before leaving him, the next time they'll meet it'll be twenty years later at the final battle that will decide who shall rule the earth...
