The Monster In Me Liberated Me

Finally I have made something for WODtober and I did the first prompt: The Monster In Me, of my sort of jokey Tzimisce Aimi, who I had first created back in 2020 https://www.deviantart.com/nk11/art/Aimi-the-Tzimisce-857852118 and I thought I'd redraw her again :D

While most Kindred feel some level of horror of becoming a blood drinking monster, Aimi however was one of those who found becoming undead a form of liberation, especially since she had been embraced into the Tzimisce clan, allowing her to transform herself into what she considers her true form. Even though the luck of the draw she was force to also consume flesh as well as blood. Aimi wasn't her birth name and she doesn't like to mention her deadname anymore, but she'll happily tell you of her human past as an animator during the late 80s, her specialty was of a character designer, she was lauded for her ability to design cute and beautiful anime girls/women and horrifying monsters from the beyond, earning her much work in the VHS Anime market. But as much Aimi enjoyed her work, she was starting to feel dissatisfied with how the cute girls and beautiful women she designed were made to be helpless and always at the mercy of the monsters, and the monster she had so lovingly crafted to always be cruel and vulgar creatures that always victimized those girls and women, feeling as though that was unfair for often in her time she had witnessed human beings act just as monstrous. If human beings were capable of great good and evil, why not monsters, in true Aimi had in her youth found comfort with reading about monsters, and dreaming of a kind monster rescuing her when the outside was anything but kind to her. Her attempts to convince the directors to write their female characters or monsters differently often fell on deaf ears, so Aimi knew that one day she would have to work up to getting her studio and she would be able to craft the kind of stories she really wanted to tell. But when bubble economy finally burst and anime production budgets had become more tight, Aimi feared her dream of making her own animation studio was impossible and she fell into a great depression. However unbeknownst to Aimi, her failing dream would soon lead to her metamorphosis, as an elder Scottish Tzimisce known as 'The Count' had seen a bootleg of one of the monster OVAs Aimi had worked on and was entranced by the horrifying beauty of the monster designs and the hidden emotion Aimi would convince her fellow animators to sneak into the monster's expressions. The Count grew quickly obsessed with Aimi's work and tracked her down with the intent of getting her to make more animations like this. Aimi was given an offer of making the monster anime of her dreams with no limit to budget or overbearing directors or producers hampering on her vision, accepting the offer without question she quickly recruited a handful of the best animators and assistants she personally knew. When Aimi had first met with The Count she was taken aback by his sharp and handsome features, there was a glint of a monster like nature in The Count's eyes that she couldn't help but find appealing. The Count's understanding and interest in how Aimi viewed monsters also drew her in, and The Count was just as taken by the animator, adoring hearing Aimi's vision and as time went on and on, he was privy to Aimi's deeper secret desires of shedding her skin and being transformed into something more. He almost embraced her on the spot, but held back until the anime was finished, it was her masterpiece and also her last animation work, for after the premiere The Count came to Aimi with an offer to grant her true metamorphosis, the price she had to pay was to never see the sun rise again and leave her old life behind. As much animation was Aimi's life, she had now achieved making the anime of her dreams and was ready to hatch out of her cocoon and become a butterfly. And a butterfly Aimi did indeed become under the tutelage of her lover and sire, she slowly transformed herself into a monstrous and yet cute(even if in a uncanny way) anime girl she had used to design in life. Aimi began to slowly forget her humanity more and more as she followed her sire into the Path of Metamorphosis https://whitewolf.fandom.com/wiki/Path_of_Metamorphosis and soon some of her former fellow animators had followed her into the night as her ghouls, their transformation at her hands was also an elation for them as had been for her, whether becoming like the true beauties or the monsters they had once worked on, Aimi was happy to grant them the same happiness she had felt. Aimi still lives mostly in Tokyo, her heaven in an old abandoned animation studio she had once worked in, when she isn't working on the next fleshcrafting project or helping her fellow packmates fight in the name of the Sabbat, she sometimes works on a new animation project, a part of her still in love with the art form.
